As a contributor to the SHINE ‘Sponsor a Child’ programme, your generous financial contribution will make a significant difference to the life of a promising young South African learner who is part of the SHINE Literacy Programme.

Sponsorship for a Grade 2 Learner on the SHINE Literacy Programme is R200.00 per month and provides:

• Access to a fully equipped learning centre.
• Access to a library, reading materials, educational games, and learner stationary.

• Access to individualised support to strengthen their English reading, writing, and speaking skills with trained volunteers twice a week.
• Additional take home resources for each learner.

As a sponsor you will also receive regular updates about you sponsored child and their progress on the programme.
